Feature walls offer "recession-proof" style, allowing clients the cost effective opportunity to have more dazzling, original and dramatic finishes than might not be appropriate or affordable when considering all walls of an area. Continuing this dramatic trend onto the fifth wall - the ceiling - is becoming more popular as well.
Donna's goal is to provide knowledge and inspiration that can be interpreted, adapted, and applied to suit your individual marketing and design requirements. Staying in tune with the most current and popular of those trends aids in keeping portfolios fresh and helps to create recession-proof style. Through her workshops, she share's a decor style that reflects the demand for ways off the beaten track offering a wide palette of possibilities for feature walls or ceilings. Color, Pattern, and glamorous Metallics are where it's at, and that is exactly where the focus will be in this years collections workshops. Students will learn finishes that are well conceived combinations of top finishing products, the latest in motif and pattern design, and exciting new and easy to use Metallic Transfer Foils.
Each year Donna creates a new design collection of faux and architectural finishes that perfectly fit the market trends! These collections have become the cornerstone of her Signature Class Series and include her favorite "design and style" finishes. Some of her past collections include The Cosmo Collection, The Ornamental Collection, and The World Tour Collection, and last years Mini-Collections: Glam Nouveau, Modern Safari, and Contempo Tropics!
In the World Tour Collection, Donna combined elegance and sophistication with progressive design concepts. The collection premiered at the 2007 Meeting of the Masters to many excited compliments from the attending faux finishers from around the world.
